My name is Vita and I am very glad you decided to check out my Blog. I started Life of Purpose Blog to share my own testimony as a Jesus’s follower and to encourage you to walk with Jesus faithfully too. I believe that if we commit our life to Him and follow His ways, that’s when we can discover, live and enjoy the great purpose of life God created for all of us.

My Story

Everybody has a story to tell, and I am sharing mine in this blog with Jesus as a main character.

Here are some facts about me and my faith that you might find encouraging.

I was born and raised in Ukraine. I am a Ukrainian by passport, and Christian by choice.

I had lived in 4 countries chasing my dreams and always having a plan for my life, before I finally slowed down and noticed Jesus who was there all along. He changed my heart and showed me the true purpose of my life. It took me years of trials and struggles to finally see that my citizenship was in heaven and His plan was way better than mine.

I met Jesus in NYC, at the age of 29. That’s an amazing story that inspires me to write my posts and is the reason why I encourage you to love and follow Jesus daily.

I had been unemployed and in debt for months before I met Jesus. It was fascinating for me to learn that He had paid all my debts on the cross long ago! He set me free indeed!

I have two degrees but studying God's Word and working for God's Kingdom have been the most joyful and most worthy experience I am truly proud of. Through the years of uncertainty, doubts and regrets, God taught me to rely on His plan for my life and career instead of my own.

I currently live in beautiful Costa Rica where I ended up as a result of following God's will for my life. God can surprise you and bless you in incredible ways if you trust Him your life.

I have been married to Rafael, a man I met after I stopped looking for a husband and started seeking the Lord with all my heart, mind, body and soul. God has been teaching me incredible things about marriage and relationships, and the importance of becoming the virtuous woman he calls all women to be.

I am a Christian writer at heart and my daily goal is to encourage Christians to become true followers of Jesus Christ.

Jesus has transformed my life in incredible ways, and I feel so blessed to be able to share my testimony with you in this blog and encourage you to be faithful in your own journey.
