Hello, friend. Thanks for stopping by to check my Blog. My name is Vitalia. I am Ukrainian by passport, and a Christian by choice. It's been the best decision I have ever made and I am excited to share my spiritual journey with you.

Ecclesiastes 4:5 says that “two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor”, and I believe that that’s exactly what happens when two and more Christians come together - they receive stronger faith, encouraged spirit, and strength to live this messy life.

That's why I am here - to encourage you to grow in your relationships with Jesus daily.

I like encouraging others and repeating how important it is to share our personal testimony with others.

I didn’t grow up in a Christian home, but I always believed there was God. Only later in life, as a Christian, I learned that “even the demons believe, and they tremble in terror” (James 2:19) which made me think of the difference of “just believing” and “having relationships with Jesus as my Savior”.

I didn’t know Jesus personally, until I left Ukraine, my home country, and moved to the US to see what life across the ocean looked like. It was different from the one I saw in the movies growing up. It taught me a great lesson - I could rely on myself only.

Alone in a foreign country, I realized that my own strength, my stubbornness, my dreams, my plans, my perseverance and resilience were not enough for living the life I wanted. I had to surrender. I had to admit that Jesus might be the only option that’s left for me. And I was right. For the first time in my life, I did the right thing - I surrendered to Jesus.

I became a Christian in NYC and it’s been amazing journey since then. You can read about my Christian journey in my next articles.

My life has changed drastically since my encounter with Jesus. I have become a new person. Literally. I got rid of anxiety and the fear for my life. I surrendered my plans and dreams to the Lord and received peace that is still beyond my comprehension but is so good to experience each day. I stopped looking for answers to every single question. I learned to trust God.

In the last 10 years of my life, I had lived in 3 different countries, before I felt God’s calling for me to move again. I married my husband in 2021 and moved to beautiful Costa Rica where I am living right now. In a foreign land, God revealed to me my spiritual gift of encouragement.

I believe that if you go anywhere, He is calling you to go, it’s always a win-win full of abundant blessings life you get. Just like He promises in His Word. You might not see it now, but you will later. You are following God, after all!

We all have a choice. We can either follow God’s will for our life, or our own heart and our own desires. If you choose to follow God’s ways, you will live the abundant life He promised you. If you decide to be the boss of our life, you will always be left disappointed and alone. It’s up to you.

I have made my choice and it’s been the best decision I have ever made. There is no one like Jesus. I am looking forward to seeing more of his miracles in my life.

I hope you get to experience the same love and transformation of your life through God’s grace.

And I hope that Life of Purpose Blog will help you stay encouraged and motivated to grow in your relationships with Jesus.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18.
